Grow Food Together is open
October 3, 2026 · Grow Food Together
Which tomato would you grow again? When did you last feed that bed? What did another gardener do differently?
Grow Food Together is now open to help you keep track of your growing and learn from it. At launch, everything is free until January 1, 2027, with no payment card needed. See pricing for current launch terms and what comes next.
Learn from your own garden
Record what you plant, the work you do, and what you harvest. Add notes and photos to remember the details: a new way of supporting a plant, the first signs of a problem, or a variety you want to grow again.
You can look back at a plant’s history, follow seedlings from a tray into a bed, and see what your garden produced. Estimated harvest values also help you compare what you grew with the costs you recorded.
Start with the plants and observations that matter to you. You can add more detail as you go. Getting started walks through setting up a garden.
Learn from other growers
Explore gardens to see what people are planting, trying, and picking. Follow a public garden to see its activity in your feed. Ask about a method in an activity’s comments, or find out more about how someone grew a harvest.
You can also visit a private garden by invitation. If you grow with other people, give them access to contribute to the same record. Viewers can read and comment; managers can also add and edit records. Everyone you invite joins for free.
Techniques are methods gardeners have written up for others to try. Add one to your garden, record using it when it includes an activity action, and share what you notice. Your experience may help someone decide whether it fits their growing conditions.
Get help with your next step
The AI assistant uses details from the garden you are discussing. Ask about a plant, think through what to grow next, or describe work you want to record. Plant conversations can include photos and recent history, giving you a place to investigate a problem and return with new observations.
The assistant can suggest possible causes and checks. Its advice is a starting point to assess alongside what you see in the garden. Read about the assistant for its context, capabilities, and limits.
Start with what you’re growing
Add a few plants, record something you did, or browse a garden or technique that interests you. If your season is winding down, save notes about what you want to repeat or change. If you are preparing to plant, start with your plans.
We would like to hear how it works for you. Use Feedback in the app’s footer to tell us about a problem or something that would help with your growing.
Updated October 8, 2026 to clarify garden roles and explain learning through shared gardens and techniques. The launch offer above records the original announcement; the pricing page has current terms.
