Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Grow Food Together ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any garden data, photos, notes, and other content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you and any garden members you authorize.

To keep the Service fast, photos are resized and re-encoded when you upload them, and we store that optimized version rather than your original file. If you crop or rotate a photo afterwards, the edited version replaces the stored one — earlier versions are not kept and cannot be restored. Keep your own copies of any photos you want to preserve at full quality.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.

Subscriptions and Billing

Having an account is free. A subscription pays for one garden you own, is billed in advance monthly or annually, and covers everyone you invite into that garden at no additional charge. A new garden's first month is free and requires no payment method.

You may cancel at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change; a change will never apply to a period you have already paid for.

What happens when a garden is not paid for. It becomes read-only. We do not delete it, and we do not delete anything in it. You keep access to read it, to share it with the people you had already shared it with, and to export its complete contents as spreadsheets and image files, free of charge, for as long as you hold the account. New entries and edits are what stop.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion for any breach of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deleting a garden also cancels any subscription paying for it.

Non-payment is not a breach of these terms and we will not terminate an account for it. A garden that is not paid for becomes read-only, as described above.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding gardening advice, AI-generated suggestions, or any outcome resulting from use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
