We collect information you provide directly, including account details (name, email, username), garden data (areas, plants, activities, harvests, photos), and chat messages sent to the AI assistant.

How We Use Information

We use your data to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send notifications you've opted into, and personalize your experience.

AI Assistant

When you use the AI chat feature, your messages and relevant garden context are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. We do not use your messages to train models. Admin staff may review aggregate usage metrics for monitoring and debugging.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (hosting, email, payments, AI) strictly necessary to operate the Service, and when required by law.

Advertising

The free tier of the Service is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve ads relevant to you across the web. See Google's Ads Privacy for details. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. Members on a paid plan see no ads, and the AdSense script is not loaded for their sessions.

Garden Memberships

Data in a shared garden is visible to all members you invite. Removing a member revokes their access to future data; previously displayed data may have been downloaded or screenshot.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time, or delete your account to remove all associated data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, secure password hashing, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; use a strong, unique password.
